A highlight for many on the school sporting calendar saw tamariki run the tough track through the beautiful grounds of Jellie Park.

Today all students participated in the annual school Cross Country. The Year 8 girls led the way by starting off the day, Amelia Black ran a strong race leading all the way. The Year 8 boys brought strong competition with Daniel Carey coming home strong. The first time for our year 7’s saw two fantastic runners from Takere 9 running very solid races with Emma Cox winning the Year 7 girls and Lennox John the Year 7 boys.

All athletes that finished in the Top 10 will head off to the CAIMS Cross Country event on Wednesday 26th June. A full top 12 result list can be found here.
