POSTER COMPETITION
Every year we run a poster competition for schools. Schools are invited to submit students’ poster designs to the CSMF Poster competition. The winning poster design will be used for our poster, programme and ticketing to advertise the 2025 Music Festival season.
The theme this year is “Whānau – friends and family”. Songs will include messages about being a good friend and supporting your family and loved ones. We would love the poster that advertises our concerts to be a work of art that reflects our theme. The theme can also include a link to music in some way but it does not have to. Posters chosen in the past have often been quite simple but effective and not too busy. We love bright colours done in coloured pencil or paint and the poster can also be digitally created if you wish.
The winning artwork will be seen by thousands of Cantabrians and the winner gets $100 and another $100 for their school!
