On Tuesday afternoons, some lucky Cobham students have opted to take Ju Jitsu for their sport activity.

Check out these great pics pf Zephyr and Sam in Ju Jitsu combat.

“Jū” can be translated to mean “gentle, soft, supple, flexible, pliable, or yielding”. “Jitsu” can be translated to mean “art” or “technique” and represents manipulating the opponent’s force against themselves rather than confronting it with one’s own force.

This is a fantastic Japanese martial art and a method of close combat. Ren takes lessons in Ju Jitsu at Cobham after school, so if you’re interested, contact the school office for details.
