Out of School Sports

Water Polo

Students may take part in this sport by completing a permission slip and paying the appropriate fee (currently $45 per term).

During Term 1 students may attend open trainings on Monday or Tuesday afternoons from 4 – 5pm at QEII to learn the skills and rules of the game. Teams then compete on Thursday afternoons at QEII. Games last for 30 minutes and can occur between 4.00pm and 7.00pm.

We do require parental assistance with the running or the teams (no experience necessary)

The winter competition is held at Jellie Park on Friday’s after school. Unfortunately due to pool space being unavailable there are no trainings during this time. Term 4 sees the return of trainings and the competition shifts back to QEII dive pool.

We enter teams into the YMCA Bishopdale basketball competition held on Friday nights.
